This game has potential to be fun but it's completely ruined because IT'S COMPLETELY PAY-TO-WIN which sucked the fun out of the game that I quit. Don't get me wrong, Final Fantasy is highly respected RPG franchise because it's full of great games in the series. But no this one. However, I might come back if the game developers make it not as pay-to-win as it is now. Right now, it's a complete money bucket! Full Review

The game is very addictive and fun to play. Some of the people playing the game are wonderful and fun to game with. Graphics are very good for a on line game played on phone, tablet or computer. The quests are challenging at best. BUT!!! BE WARNED... This game is not for young children as there is explicit language and cut throat people playing the game. After all it is a war game and nothing more. Now down to the nitty-gritty of the game. Yes it's free, but that only get you so far before you will need to buy packs in the game to advance and unlock the two new characters. The game quests are designed for people to spend if you want to get ahead fast. Large amounts of $$$$$$ Cash are needed to play this game. $$$$$$ Personal note, I know people who have spent thousands on this game. Over all the game is great for young adults on up. If you like going nowhere very slow this is the game for you. After purchasing two bundles one of which doubles your resource capacity, upgrading all of the resource, you have to spend weeks farming tiles in order to upgrade your castle or do any research. If you're RICH AF you might enjoy this. But each bundle you get just increases the cost from $5 to $20 to $100. I don't have $100 to spend on a phone game so can't tell you if it goes up again Full Review

When it's not crashing, it's fun to play. Sucks when it doesn't load of locks up during game play. Also it gets expensive as you have to buy packs at $99 a pop after the 1st 2. The game play is addicting, but no fun if you cannot afford the special offers they continue to throw in your face every time you log in. I love final fantasy games but this particular one is a money pit!. Not to mention the constant crashing Full Review

I kind of enjoy the game but would like it more if there were cheaper options to buying. After you buy some the prices jump to 99.99 and have yet to see cheaper prices. I'm not unloading that in one go. The people of this game would probably make more money if they bring cheaper prices. I would buy several different little packs that eventually add up to 100 bit you ain't getting nothing otherwise. Also wish you could buy more things with the gold you purchased. Like have a choice to spend loyalty or gold Full Review

Someone needs to be fired or at least schooled on currency exchange rates. They offer 2 packs for 5 and 20 then except for rare sales which offer 49 and 79 dollar packs everything is 100 dollars google should step in and pull this game off the google play market for a square enix licensed product they have enough backing to have actual microtransactions not be a game exclusive to rich people who use 100 dollar bills as toilet paper... This game is excess. There's too much to do, too many menus, too many ads, way too much waiting, etc. This is balanced by insuring you never have enough resources (but you can buy more!), never know exactly what's going on, etc. Essentially, you'll see tons of ads telling you how much better the game will be if only you spend $5. Then you'll do everything you're told to do up until around level 5- that's when you start having to wait for or buy resources. All the while, the little chat bar is filled with people asking what they're supposed to do & when it gets fun, and children asking the modern equivalent of A/S/L. I'm sure underneath it all is an exciting, highly addictive experience with great graphics though. Full Review

The best part of a game is the lore, authenticity, plot, quests and rewards not letting aside the humor. This game lacks a few key ingredients and the fact that just real life $ dictates your game play... totally makes it prone to fail. You deal with players who will get bored buying everything easy or players quitting because they don't want to spend real $ on a phone game with no lore, continuity or value per se. Full Review

Please understand that there is really nothing free about this game except the install. While the gameplay WAS very promising at first, purchaseable bonus packs take any strategy completely out of the game. Now, in addition, each new element of the game that has been released in recent weeks requires cash to unlock. I can only use about half of the games features now. Bummer. If you're willing to pay, have a blast with this game. Otherwise leave it alone! Full Review

I have played this game for a while, it is addictive and fun, have met some really cool people on here, but I don't like how it's a pay to win game. I may not be staying on it much longer if things don't change on it. The chat you can't delete so when scrolling up it freezes my phone up, any packages you may want to buy are super expensive, and not worth it. Everything that could be fun costs real money which is making the game a lot less fun, you can't hatch chocobos, or level a new hero without spending money. Which is why I dropped my rating. Give more stars once the issues I've submitted to support are resolved and once they possibly stop asking so much for the packs ($5 ➡ $20 ➡ ➡ $50 ➡ $100 that's a huge jump) to help grow your empire! I do enjoy the game A LOT tho and I am a avid player! There are just issues that need resolving as in any game! Full Review

As a completely new player, I literally have never played final fantasy or anything like this before on any platform, it's pretty neat. Very interactive with other players and the response time from the game itself is very good. Never a lag. Graphics would be better if they could be bigger in size. But I'm playing on a phone not a tablet stop that could be my issue lol. Tutorial could have done a little better of job setting up background story and explaining game play. I.e. what the actual objective is. But like I said I'm a total noob here so I had no idea what this was about. Sorry this was a long review lol. Over all pretty awesome game didn't think I'd stick with it but here I am unable to pull myself away from it. Full Review

If you're rich, it's the perfect game for you. When I first joined, bundles were $5. So I got a bundle. The $5 bundles quickly changed to $20 and you couldn't see the $5 bundles anymore. When you buy a $20 bundle, they go up to $100. I'm not paying $100 for a bundle that was just $20 all of 2 min ago. Other than that, it's a great game with a decent community of players. It just sucks they want to use me as a cash cow. 😞😞 Full Review

Too many ads. Very expensive and very low access to achieve success. Upper level features eg: events for alternate heros that are not active. Too many powerful older users to ever hope to compete in the game. Hard to navigate, there are no realm views nor directional indicators to assist in relationship to the empire. Just too difficult to protectunable to protect your earnings and work or afford it. Full Review

I wish you here were more opportunities to earn things like items and resources. Or you should teased people for being super loyal since the beginning, like me.... Lol Full Review

They lead you into a false sense of security with first 10 levels. Progression becomes exponentially slower with each level, and even grinding yields no payout. The play-to-win players are so massively overpowered that when they begin to raid for heroes and resources, regular players can't advance at all. There is no balance in this game whatsoever. It seems like fun at first, but that drops off quickly with each additional level. Full Review

This is like a build an empire game under the guise of the Final fantasy name. It is addictive if you like this kind. Things in the store cost way too much. Game can be a bit clunky and chat is not as good as it could be. If you are a low level player it is extremely difficult to progress if you are constantly attacked by high level players. It would be better if there was some kind of banding. i.e. every 5 levels you could only attack within that band of 5 levels. It would help the game immensely and not discourage the lower level players. Full Review

Game forces you to spend money like literally... You have a maximum capacity of 1 million stones but the upgrades and research requires 2 million... so how do you get stones? Beg for it , or spend 5 days to send troop to get it ... if you are lucky you don't get attacked and repeat for metal ,gils and energy then you can finally get a upgrade which stats are so insignificant compared to the resources spend... OR you can spend money to buy gold which is what the game is forcing you to do... so please do not download this... they put false advertising on tapjoy too ... the moment you got the level they remove the offer making you play this game for no reason. Its fun and interesting, the biggest issue I have with it is that if you buy 2 gold packs the price goes up to $100 and there are no options to buy ANY cheaper ones. I'd buy alot more gold if there were cheaper options, but most people like myself can't afford $100 to blow on mobile game. Fix this! When this is fixed I will upgrade my rating. Game is very confusing when it comes to the events such as attacking monsters. Also it is to hard to earn any noctics I think they're called or the stuff you need to attack them. The makers are expecting players to spend money on the game when it shouldn't been 100% necessary to continue to level up , it should be an option. I wish I could enjoy it properly without needing to spend money. Uninstalling because this game is a waste of time and a prime example of pay to play so you can get wrecked. Full Review

Don't waste your money. This is the most ridiculous pay-to-win game I have ever seen. After the first two in-game packs, they go up to $100 each. You have to buy these packs to unlock and upgrade certain features, which are just barely good enough that players who do have the money to spend will wipe the floor with you. You'd be better off saving your money and getting a good gaming console. Full Review

There are some really friendly guilds in this game. But it is the people who make the game not really the content. The game is basically pay to win... if you have money to burn you can level quickly and go for the big prizes and titles. If not, find yourself a good guild and chat and play. They have used the FF name to draw new blood into war games. Its nothing like the other FF games. Full Review

Has lots of potential, as long as the devs don't screw it over. Join a good guild, and don't expect it to keep you busy all day. Build times can be long, but that's how empire building games are. For what it is, I think it's great. Typical Final Fantasy music too. It feels like an authentic attempt, and not just a cash grab. Full Review
