I really like it but I have a galaxy phone and most of the good features don't work on my phone for some reason. it doesn't let me edit my account (it just says continuously loading) and no camera feature. it works well just for calories though. Full Review

Too many items in database with incorrect information. Would love to see it track how much food you are eating in each food group especially fruits and vegetables, and then compare it to recommended values based on gender, age etc. Full Review

This app is organized poorly, and the free version doesn't have much functionality. There are quite a few food items in the app database, which is good, but I found many of them conflicted with the packaging. But the worst part is, the target daily calories for weight loss are WAY off. When I compared them to several medical sources, my calorie consumption needs to be 300 calories per day LESS than what Lose It gave me. Which may explain why in three weeks of tracking and staying under the Lose It target for a 1 pound per week loss, I lost 0 weight. Full Review

Fantastic free app for losing weight. Has a huge database of foods that helps you keep track of what calories you are having and helps you keep within your budget for losing weight. Also has a premium version which I don't use but the free version has really helped me get well on the way to my goals. Full Review

The app seems great, but when I reviewed other sources for calorie goals nothing matched what is given in this app; this app seems to allow too many calories and so if followed exactly would probably not produce the expected results. Though you can get some results with this app, I had to switch to MyFitnessPal since I have more faith in their numbers, and they have all the same features. Full Review

We have been using the app since early October and I have lost 17 lbs, so far. We have been loving it, but after the update on 01/17/2018 it will say, "Press to search offline" on 3 different devices. One of them I just downloaded today to see if uninstalling and reinstalling would make a difference, but it didn't.... Please help! We are both doing great and don't want to stop now... Full Review

God app. It would be helpful if the nutritional information were expressed as a percentage of the daily recommendation, rather than just as a portion of what you've eaten so far. With that option, I'd give it 5 stars. Full Review

I have uses Lose It on and off for a few years now. LOVE the amount of foods available on there with the calories. It's easy to use and fun to try and stay below my target caloric intake for the day. My only issues are the measurement methods of foods is sometimes strange (like using ounces and grams) and the app has frozen on me on occasion (though very rarely). It was usually back up within a day and customer service is very nice and helpful. Full Review

I really love this app, however starting January 11th 2018 the app continues to crash on me. Tried again today the 12th and it's still not opening. I even uninstalled and reinstalled. Continues not to open. I'm so sad, it really helped me to lose weight and keep myself knowledgeable on what good I was intaking. Please fix for me. I don't know what else to do. A very handy app! I enjoy having this little sucker on hand since it forces me to be concious of how much I'm eating. Helps cut unnecessary snacking. Also I love the barcode scanner. It really helps cut that corner of trying to find an accurate calorie count for what you ate. Very good. Full Review

So far so good. I moved over from MFP to this app as noticed some good recommendations. The interface is better & easier to navigate. Will need to use the app a bit longer before I'm assured that the price offered for the premium features are worth it. Also, cannot see any confirmation that the Fitbit Blaze would work with the upgrade. Full Review

App is easy to use, love being able to track just about everything from steps, food, and water intake. The only problem I have with the app is some of the calories seem to be off. For some food that I scan and look up the calories are different from what is labeled on the package. So in order to get a proper calorie count I have to add more or less food to what I have actually eatin. Full Review

I tried several calorie tracking programs before finding loose it. Ive used it for a couple years and rated it at five. Ive changed my rating after the recent version update. The program looks nice but suffers from a lose of functionality and requires more steps per transaction. Changed rating to two. Would love to get old version back. Full Review

Never tried an app like this before but I'm glad I found this one first. It's very organized and super easy to use. The biggest thing, though, is that it's uninhibiting. It's fast and easy to add what you're eating and get on with things. I'd highly recommend it to anyone. Full Review

Really helping me. So easy to use! Love that it gives me the confidence that no matter what I eat, as long as I am staying within my budget calories and logging them, it tells me the date I will reach my goal weight! 'Diets' never gave me the confidence that I am for sure doing the right thing to get results. Now I know that if I am hungry, I can eat, but I make smart decisions on how many calories to consume (i.e. raspberries and blueberries vs something high calorie). You can track exercise to increase your daily calories (but I suggest not eating all of those extras you earn). You can easily log what you are eating, the scanner is super helpful too. You can eat whatever foods you want as long as you log/measure portions to stay as accurate as possible. Helpful to also Google meal plans for your daily calories to get ideas on what you can eat during the day to stay full. Good luck. I highly recommend this app! Full Review

Everything about this app is amazing. It helps me keep track of what I need to put in and out of my meals. Searching for the foods is a breeze and it also helps me at resturants and fastfoods joints on cheat days. The only thing I see as buggy, is logginging in the excersie. Sometimes it take a couple of retries to get it accounted for. Hopefully it'll get looked at. Full Review

When you diet, without someone over your shoulder, you can fall into self deceit. This app can act as someone over your shoulder, putting the truth in front of you. I started dieting and using this app in early July. As of today, I have lost almost 50 lbs and I don't have much more to go to reach my goal. This app has made me pay attention to calories. Every time a new badge or achievement pops up, I feel great about myself and get excited to lose more weight Update: A few days after Thanksgiving, I reached my goal of losing 61 lbs. The Holiday season is over and I am managing my weight. I am currently at the weight I was when I got out of Basic Training and AIT (U.S. Army). It feels great being at my Army weight. I've been using LoseIt on PC for a while now, and I thought it would be nice to have on my new smartphone. I do like the breakdown of recommended calorie counting for each meal. But the interface is confusing to navigate (why is daily weight recording hidden behind "Goals"?), and I can't even with the amount of nagging to upgrade to premium. It's so intrusive that I'm on the verge of uninstalling. If I had to depend on this app to use LoseIt, I would stop using it entirely. Full Review

Lose it is really easy to use for food tracking. It used to connect to fitbit and give a "credit" for calories burned. Now that is only available through the premium. So my choices are: 1. Use 2 apps and make the adjustments myself. 2. Pay for premium. Or 3. Stop using Lose it and track everything through fitbit. I'm choosing option 3. Full Review

Ive always hated the idea of counting calories and keeping food logs but this app makes it kind of fun to keep track of foods. I also like the break down of fats, carbs, and proteins so you can actually see where you need to adjust your diet. I purchased the premium to have it link to my fitbit. I've been having trouble with my fitbit lately... The apps aren't syncing together like i thought they would, which is the main reason why i purchased them. I was hoping that lose it would show the calories i burned with how many steps i took through the day, but it just shows my step count which is kinda redundant since my fitbit app shows that. And lose it isn't syncing to my fitbit app to track my calorie intake. So.... If you decide to purchase the premium just for that then I dont suggest it. But, I mainly purchased the app to force myself to track. It works great in tracking calories and i hardly have problems with the app, even before I purchased the premium. I was on weight watchers online and paid way more for tracking, with more problems. Lose It (free or premium) works way better than weight watchers online in my opinion. Full Review

If you are serious about loosing weight then track everything in lose it daily ,link it with fit bit , lift welights and be consistent....I guarantee that you will loose weight rapidly and consistently more than ever. I had this app from day 1 of release and you could always, from the start (free version) use a fitness tracker. Now that the developers are "eating cookies, lots of cookies" they took it away from a basic feature and now you have to pay $40!? I never should have updated. You have to be kidding me. I bought a subscription to this service AND I paid for the embody DNA sequencing only to discover by the time my sequencing was complete that I can't even view my results in the app because it isn't supported on Android OR on the web. So now I've just wasted $40 on straight up nothing. Seriously? This information should have been made more clear at the beginning and check out process, otherwise this is a total SCAM.
