The fact that the custom training plan (the whole reason I subscribed) cannot be adjusted is more than mildly annoying. I've already started my training but I want to change the days I run and rest so I ended my plan to start a new one, only to be told I can't run so soon, preventing me from creating a plan (a feature I paid for) instead of warning me and / or letting me link or manually key in my ongoing training to the plan. Other than that, it got good integration with other services but that's about it. Runtastic is better in everything else, especially in consistency. Full Review

Best app for running. Over the year I have had it, it's only tracked my miles wrong once. It is an awesome free app, easy to track your run or add other activities. RunKeeper GO is a cheap upgrade which allows you to monitor your progress throughout each activity. On runkeeper GO, your friends can live track you, my husband uses this when I run at night. I've been using this app for years and its great. Full Review

I'm just getting back into running and it's too cold (for me!) to run outside yet. I haven't used this app to its full with GPS, I've only been using the timer for my treadmill workouts. So far it's been awesome motivation for me because of the tracking, notifications and emails. I also like that it announces every 5 elapsed minutes, I use that as my pace change alarm! I'm excited to get outside with this. Full Review

This used to be one of my favs. But the current connectivity problems have put me off runkeeper. (I like to use Garmin software on my fitness devices, diet trackers for food intake, and sometimes Google Fit) . None of these have been properly syncing, even though both runkeeper and the other vendor's software report connected. From what I've been reading, this has been a long-lasting problem with no solution. All this and my 45min workout was reported by runkeeper as 16min. Really????? Full Review

Runkeeper is a fantastic idea, and what seems to be made from a team that appreciates helping others achieve their running goals. However, the app is slow, lacks key features (like automatic stopping your timer after a few seconds of inactivity, and suffers the occasional glitch (which, for serious runners is non-negotiable). With this review, my intent is to speak more to the app's UX developers than to those looking for a sports app. The RK app is a good idea with so much more potential. Full Review

In the last six months I have been getting a lot of miss calculated runs/walks. Prompts will not call out and it will pause my music. If I don't have the app open all the time it shorts me up to a mile less than what I accomplished. I have been using the app for many years now and never had this long of a problem with it Full Review

1. It somehow does not accept the birthdate, I had to set a day after to make it reflect correct !? 2. Always fails to save the location, may be there is no corresponding field in its DB. 3. The time is 30 minutes late, when you actually start at 5:00, it shows 04:30 - for no good reasons. 4. Goals are not calculated correct. When I've already (cumulatively) walked 30 kms, it shows only 20 kms complete. 5. GPS has problems. Everyday I start at same point. Once in a while, it forgets the starting point. -1 star for each point. 1 star for courtesy. Full Review

Was great - now not. Did 7 miles today but it clocked just 1! Not impressed at all. It was so good but whatever they have recently changed had ruined it. Thought I'd try it again but found it impossible to log in. Kept saying it couldn't connect with Runkeeper. Given up and uninstalled. Full Review

I really want to love the app. It works well, tells me how long, how far, and how fast I've been running, which is exactly what I want. However, it forces me to turn off the battery saving setting on my phone (yes, the entire swath of battery saving settings) in order to even use the app, which is absolutely ridiculous and makes me want to find a different app to use. I think this is great! I live in England for the moment which is basically a 2nd world country regarding cell/GPS signal though so it's frustrating when I run a long way and there's no data. That's just my situation however. Full Review

I've used his app for many years now and have referrrd so many people to runkeeper. It guided me into the way of loving to run. Now I am heart broken that the app no longer supports free training work outs. I will have to start looking for a new app. Which is disappointing to think of all of the data I will lose from my prior running. Full Review

I've used it to train for 3 half marathons and 2 full marathons with the free training guides. I've tried a couple others but like the user friendly features on Runkeeper. My only gripe is the complication of plugging treadmill runs in to count for training work-outs. I can't seem to figure it out even after contacting Runkeeper. Other than that I love it! Been using it for a few years now! **Edit** I just logged in and all the free training programs are gone! Boo! Full Review

I just paid for the personalized training plan, and I am really disappointed. I told it I wanted to run 3 times a week, but it only gives me one workout per week. Also, it started my plan in April (2017, I assume) even though I created the plan in January. $40 for something that is much worse than any number of free C210K plans out there. Full Review

The best running app I've tried. I use it for three main features: (1) the real time audio stats; (2) the training by pace; and (3) the posibility to create specific workouts, such as: 10 min. slow, 40 steady, 20 fast. However, I think the custom workouts and the "training be pace" should be combined, giving the user the posibility to specify the pace with minutes and seconds (not just with words like "slow" or "fast") for each interval. Also to improve: the average speed estimation at relatively short distances (1k or less) is very bad. Full Review

I like the readout this app gives, the ability to share (or not) and the maps. I even routed a 5K fundraiser using this app and printing the map. The emails are great for accountability & encouragement. I am able to compete with my own previous pace & distances or make note of why a run was slow. Very satisfied with this app. Full Review
